I was excited to go to the movies again ... I just love this actress (when she looks serious her lips don't close totally). I had already seen the trailer and it seamed like a great movie. Here is the plot:

Eveline Salt is a CIA agent. She specialises in interrogation techniques. Her life is torn upside down, when one day interrogating a Russian man he tells her (in front of witnesses), that she is a Russian spy working as a sleeper (agent who stays undercover for a long time, sometimes for decades). Thinking that her agency wants to imprison her she flees and is being wanted by CIA. Further in the film we see that she really is a Russian spy. The plan of the Agency she works for is to use Americas nuclear missiles to start a nuclear war. Well until now the film was great. Just what I expected it to be ... not the best film ever but quite OK. But then came the ending that destroyed every ounce of interest I had for this Movie. Let's see what happened ...

Evelin's CIA boss (who turns out to be a Russian spy himself) is in the presidential Bunker and holds the PC that controls all nuclear missiles in the USA. The bunker is shut close. Then Evelyn, who turns out to be the good guy after all tries to stop her boss from doing what he plans to. So how does she reach him ... easy ... she shoots herself through a massive concrete Wall and enters the Bunker ... then she fights her former Boss, who is just as well trained as her (and a Man) and wins. In the last moment she saves the world from the damnation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Well I hope my point is made clear ... WHAT A BUNCH OF SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean there is just no way she would ever be able to shoot through a Bunker Wall and even if, there would be no way to stop a Plan so well planned !!! The Plot until the end is great ... but the End itself is just crap ... just another Hollywood - Happy - Ending that is forced into a movie just to make it ... I don't know what they wanted to make it like ... But I don't like what came out ....


So Lets see ... Today's rating:         As an Action Film (without the ending)  8/10

                                                     As an Action Film(with the Ending)       2/10

                                                     As a Family film ...     Hmm I don't know

                                                     General rating ...   5/10, but I think the end reduces it to 3/10


Sorry but i wouldn't recommend the movie ... because it really depressed me at the End and I don't want my readers to suffer that same fate ... because I love you!!!
